Malin has lived and worked in eight countries across three continents. With her international background she is passionate about supporting people through transition.
Living most of her adult life outside of her native country, Sweden, Malin has changed directions and reinvented herself many times.
She started off as a Fashion Designer in Paris in the 80’s, then went on to teach fashion in Tokyo, Japan, before setting up her own creative studio in Hong Kong in the 90’s.
Malin went on to become the President for a Swedish International Organisation specialised in supporting female expats through transition and integration outside their home country.
Malin then decided to build on her experience by acquiring coaching qualifications, and has now been professionally coaching staff at all levels for over 5 years.
Malin has accumulated +500 coaching hours, with clients from around the world.
She has gained experience in coaching managers in the UN system through working with many of their agencies in the Geneva area.
Malin is a strong advocate for supporting staff in large international organisations by enabling them to explore their own professional and personal leadership through coaching.
Malin is founder of The Expat Coach, coaching for transition and integration, with a practice covering all of Strengths-based Coaching, Professional and Personal Leadership Development, Resilience, Stress Management and Self-Awareness.
