Practical, effective First Aid Courses and HEAT (Hostile Environment Awareness Training)

Meet Mike Hope our chief instructor and a former specialist communications operator for the British government,  covert surveillance officer for the police service and mountain rescue team leader. Mike has taught BTEC level 3 in public services and is fully qualified to deliver our First Aid, HEAT and RTACC training.

“Helping participants to build a tool-kit of skills that they can use immediately” is the Sandstone mantra, and all of our courses are focussed on the outcomes that our clients want to achieve. We aim to equip delegates to face the real-life situations in which they might find themselves.

"Having had to attend numerous first aid course over the years in order to keep qualifications in date I've found the level of delivery and engagement to be incredibly frustrating. So when we met Mike I realised we could be part of the solution!" Tim Bradshaw operations director Sandstone.

Whilst the qualifications are the same the delivery is entirely focussed on teaching skills and strategies that will help delegates react in the best possible way in the worst possible situations.
